Battery Tester Match
6V / 12V · 6V/12V battery + 12V/24V system + printer

SOLAR / Clore BA327

A shop printer model spanning 6V/12V batteries and 12V/24V systems, with a 40–2000 CCA range. The missing 24V battery permission remains important.

Who this tester is actually for

Start with the job, not the model number.

Good fit

Choose BA327 if...

  • 6V and 12V batteries in the same shop
  • 12V/24V starting and charging work
  • Paper proof at the end of the check
  • Battery ratings down to 40 CCA and up to 2000 CCA
Skip it if

Look at something else if...

  • You need actual 24V battery health testing.
  • A 6V vehicle system must also be tested.
  • PC export is part of the recordkeeping requirement.

What changes the buying decision

Use these distinctions to rule this model in or out for your job.

Low CCA can matter

The 40 CCA lower bound distinguishes BA327 from BA227’s 100 CCA floor. Check the battery label before treating these as interchangeable printer models.

6V has a follow-up

6V battery coverage does not include a verified 6V starting/charging system. The finder’s conditional question must stay unanswered or locked if that need is uncertain.

Paper versus archive

The integrated printer supplies immediate proof. BA427 adds verified PC export and a 3000 CCA ceiling for a different workload. Related options: SOLAR / Clore BA227 / SOLAR / Clore BA427.

Common questions

Does the 1.5–30V operating range mean 24V battery support?

No. Operating voltage is not the list of supported nominal battery test voltages. Our record keeps that list at 6V/12V.

What is the reason to move up to BA427?

A battery above 2000 CCA or a PC-record workflow can change the decision. A higher model number alone cannot. Related buying forks: SOLAR / Clore BA227 / SOLAR / Clore BA427. Check the remaining requirements in the finder.
